Question by *YaY*: How can i treat BV without using any antibiotics?
I’ve had BV for almost a month in a half. I’ve been surfing the web constantly about BV. I’ve tried eating yougurt, taking vitamins, and not having sex. But it still returns, and its actually quite embarrassing.. the odor and the discharge is uncomfortable.I’ve been wanting to see a gyno but i dont have much time, and i was wondering if there was any other way to treat it. Can anyone help me?

There is nothing that will clear this up but antibiotics. That is why the name “bacterial” vaginitis. It means there is a bacterial infection present and only antibiotics can clear up a bacterial infection. You have wasted a lot of time when a 10 day course could have had this cleared up already.

  1. ah, i have the same problem so i can only sympathise with you. i posted a question yesterday and got the same answer. it gets so embarrassing going to the doctors all the time. i have had it six times this year, it just will not go away grrrrrrrrr!. hope you find the answer because im struggling at the mo.
