These infection can cause sterility and other problems.

Babies who weigh less than 5 pounds at birth
Early delivery or miscarriage
Early rupture of membrane
A woman in the first trimester with a bacterial vaginosis, according to medical studies is twice as likely to have a miscarriage in the second trimester.

of miscarriages in the second trimester.
